'People's Court' Defendant Missing After Appearing on Show

About 40 volunteers joined Orlando police Monday to help search for Michelle Parker, a mother of three who disappeared after appearing on an episode of The People's Court last week. She was last seen in Orlando on Thursday, the same day her episode aired. Her SUV was found Friday on the west side of the city. She is somewhere scared. Somebody has her. We forgive you. Please turn her loose." Stewart has also said that Parker was unhappy that she went public with her dispute with Smith. According to an ABC News interview with Stewart, Parker told her that the show "was the most humiliating experience of my life. I don't even ever want to see it. I wish I had never gone." Though Parker and Smith reportedly had a sometimes violent relationship, police do not consider him a suspect in the case presently. Volunteers, including members of the non-profit recovery group Texas Equusearch, have distributed an estimated 20,000 fliers concerning Parker.
