R&B Singer Vesta Williams Found Dead in L.A. Accommodation
Vesta Williams, the R&B singer who had several hits within the eighties and early ྖs, was discovered dead inside a La accommodation on Thursday. She was 53. La County coroner's Capt. John Kades told the Connected Press the singer, who recorded under her name only, might have died from the possible drug overdose. An autopsy could be carried out to look for the reason for dying. She'd six tunes achieve Billboard's US R&B chart, including Once Bitten, Two times Shy, Sweet, Sweet Love, Special and Congratulations, that also charted around the Billboard Hot 100 in 1989.
